What We Offer

At Miracle Children's Academy, we strive to be on the cutting edge of Early Childhood Education and set an example for all schools in the Flower Mound / Lewisville area. In keeping with this goal we have added a Director of Education who is dedicated to nothing but the education and ancillary activities. We are adding some amazing things to your child's education. This will help get them excited about education and broaden their interests. Here are the new aspects of your curriculum:
  1. Homework: All children 18 months and older will receive daily homework packages.
  2. Lesson Plans: You will be receiving copies of your child's lesson plan every week. This will give you a hard copy of what to expect for the following week.
  3. Exercise: Every classroom (with the exception of infants) will be doing daily exercise which you will see reflected on your child's daily schedule.
  4. Second Language: Children will be exposed to both English & Spanish and this will be reflected on their lesson plans and in your weekly take home packet. The circle time will be performed in both English & Spanish.
  5. Sports: Funkey Kids (gymnastic program) lessons will be offered weekly to all children's 12 months and older. 
  6. Birthday Parties: We are more than happy to celebrate your child's birthday. We are allowing parents to bring cake, cupcakes, birthday favors, and anything to make their day a very special day.
  7. Outdoor Learning: The benefits of the children being outdoors are well documented. It includes increased self-esteem, lower school dropout rates and healthier children.
  8. Playground App: Playground App will help our educators to record activities on their tablets as they happen throughout the day to keep you informed on everything from nutritional information to fun moments and learning activities. Real-time updates and effortless communication.
  9. Character Development: We believe that not only are we getting our children ready for school but also ready for life. You will see us working on building character in our children every through our curriculum, summer activities and visitors.

Funkey Kids

Weekly Classes Presented at Our School

  • Funkey Kids is an internationally recognized, non-competitive physical literacy program for boys and girls ages 1-6.
  • This program provides cognitive, physical, and social development
  • Developing strength and flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, gross and fine motor skills, balance and coordination, eye hand and eye foot coordination plus speed and agility.
  • 30 minute lessons which consists of a fun Funkey Kids warm up song, followed by stretching positions and locomotion-then main activity. We work on a  curriculum with unique, specialized equipment that changes weekly.
